What you'll do
I've designed this tour not only for first-time visitors to Cincinnati, but also for people who haven't ventured downtown for a few years. You'll be amazed at all that is happening! We'll start our tour at historic Findlay Market where you'll get a feel for our public market. Next we'll ride the streetcar through the Central Business District to The Banks to explore the area around Great American Ball Park. You'll see how we remember Pete Rose and other legendary Reds players, and you'll understand the connection between baseball and our community. We'll have plenty of photo opportunities right around the stadium, at Smale Riverfront Park, and along the Ohio River. Next we'll ride the streetcar back to the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Here, you'll want to grab some pictures of gorgeous Music Hall and Washington Park before we head to Taft's Ale House to see a gorgeous 19th century church restored as a 3-story brewpub. We'll enjoy beer cheese and pretzels, but plenty of other food and locally brewed beer are also available for purchase. Throughout the tour, I'll be happy to share insider tips about where to eat and what to do while you're in the Cincinnati area.

After teaching school, managing our family construction business, and raising a family, I stumbled into the community surrounding historic Findlay Market. The small business owners there inspired me to start my own company, and Cincinnati Food Tours launched in 2012. Since then, I have grown my business beyond food to include cultural tours. I definitely enjoy the food, the history, the sports, and the arts in Cincinnati, but I really love the people. I am a Certified Tourism Ambassador, a Bona Fide entrepreneur, and an Unofficial Cheerleader for all things Cincinnati. Let me share my passion.
