About your host

I'm an artist, art instructor, and business owner. I've been working as a professional artist for 28 years. I love teaching people how to work w/clay whether on a pottery wheel OR hand building with clay. It's exciting for me to see individuals learn the techniques and skills needed to work with clay. It' s especially exciting to see their creativity develop and grow.

What we’ll do

I will demonstrate how to create a clay mask with clay from beginning to end. Throughout the process I will explain use of ceramic tools, exploring individual creativity, various techniques relating to working with clay. Then the individual/s will create their very own mask. Once completed, everyone will choose their glaze color from about 60 + colors for their mask. Then we'll bisque fire the…
