What you'll do

We'll set off from Regent Square and hike up the back trails with your new best friend: a jovial hairless dog named Lola! Along with exercising and socializing, we'll take some photos to publish on Lola's world famous Instagram profile. As we hike, feel free to take time to photograph the Pittsburgh backcountry. Along the way we will have great views of nature and Western Pennsylvania!

Where you'll be

Frick Park is the largest municipal park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, covering 644 acres. It is one of Pittsburgh's four historic large parks.
The park began when Henry Clay Frick, upon his death in 1919, bequeathed 151 acres (0.61 km2) south of Clayton, his Point Breeze mansion (which is now part of the Frick Art & Historical Center). He also arranged for a $2 million trust fund ($28.9 million today) for long-term maintenance for the park.

Loved our hike with Rick, Flo, and Lola. Having had recent knee surgeries, Rick and Flo were very attentive to my needs. Slowing down when needed and lending a helping hand. Beautiful park!

A really enjoyable morning walk with Rick, Flo and Lola the Mexican hairless dog. Great location, personable hosts, super smart and well trained dog. And unexpected bonus was my wife got to practice her rusty French with Flo

We (me and my 12 y old daughter) went for a 2h walk with sweet Lola in the Frick park. We had an amazing time! The morning in the park was memorable, and Lola was excited and very nice with kids! We could give her treats from hand as we were walking, and 2h passed quickly. Even the little rain did not matter in the beautiful forest in good company! We definitely recommend the morning walk, also for families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning hike with Rick, Flo and Lola. Great conversationalists who provided history of the area, highlights of things to do and places to eat while in Pittsburgh and took the time to get to know us during the hike. Very nice metro park. I would rate this as a high experience and recommend to others.
