What you'll do
We're meeting at a serene tree-lined section of the River Liffey, where it winds through the Phoenix Park before it reaches Dublin city. When you arrive we'll give you a quick talk through the basics of Paddleboarding before we set you loose on the river. We'll take 15 minutes for you to get your 'sea-legs' before we start paddling down the river and into the city centre. Once we set off we'll pass slowly from countryside into the city centre and soon we'll be passing some of Ireland's most famous landmarks, including Temple Bar, the Customs House and we'll even paddle right under the Ha'Penny bridge. We'll finish up where the Liffey enters the sea at the old docks of Ringsend, where a friend will be waiting for us with some food and hot drinks - which we'll well deserve after taking on the length of the river.
Food after the paddle We provide a snack for the hungry adventurers when they leave the water. We can cater for veggies.
Water and Juice We'll have plenty of water and drinks on board
All equipment provided We'll provide all wetsuits, stand up paddleboards, buoyancy aides and head torches if they're…
I'm from beside the sea just south of Dublin and have spent my whole life in watersports. I've been teaching surfing, kitesurfing and Stand Up Paddle for nine years and I'm also a beach lifeguard... so you're in safe hands ;) Also in university I studied history and have been an armchair historian ever since. I'm really keen to show you both the adventurous side and the rich history of my city. Come see a Dubliner's take on the river Liffey from sea level!

Where you'll be
We'll be meeting on the banks of the River Liffey inside Dublin's beautiful and much under used Memorial Gardens The location is quite central so it's only a 15 - 20 minute walk from the city centre. We'll finish just beside the 3 Arena in the Eastwall/Ringsend area.
