What you'll do

Join us to discover the bounty of our beautiful homestead while taking time to PLAY WITH BABY GOATS!! This experience is an intro to homesteading and a chance to experience what life is like on a small scale homestead farm, with a focus on the baby goat kids! Upon your arrival we will go right to the goat barn to meet our herd of Nubian and Alpine dairy goats. Once there we will conduct a short talk about animal husbandry, breeding, raising goat babies, pasture management and answer any questions you may have about goats. If we have any bottle baby kids you will be welcome to feed them, they love it. Our goats are our loves, we spend a great deal of time with all of our goat kids each year, so they are typically extremely friendly, love visitors and are happy to offer you lots of goat kisses! This experience will also be offered once our kidding season starts, so if the timing is right, you may be able to see very newly born kids. Please note: If this experience is not available during a time you would like to take it or if you are staying at our Airbnb, please contact us to request availability. We may be able to add it to the calendar.
