What you'll do
Discover the landmarks of Ghent during this 3-hour tour. The tour will take you to the most beautiful historic and contemporary locations. We offer you the best of both worlds: St Bavo's Abbey and St Peter's Abbey, Small Beguinage, surprising street and guerrilla art, lively parks, Portus Ganda, the rivers Lys and Scheldt, etc.
For a long time, Ghent was one of the largest and wealthiest cities in Europe. And this is still noticeable today. You cycle along numerous abbeys and churches, the Castle of the Counts and the Belfry.... All this testifies to the city’s rich history.

All good things come in threes: a cycling tour, a weekend trip and an exciting tour of the city. I have made the perfect mix of these three elements for you. I personally think it is a great experience to explore a city by bike in company of a local.
Taking visitors on a tour of my city seemed the most rewarding job in the world. And after a 25-year career in various companies, I got on my bike!
I am not only a passionate cyclist but also a certified sommelier. So, I can show you the best places to wine & dine in the city. After all, Ghent is renowned for its gastronomy!

The day we booked for our tour it was raining, but Tim took great care of us! He had raincoats for everyone and was able to make most of our stops at a covered location. This tour was a great way to see the whole city. We were able to visit local areas and a neat food/beer hall we never would have found on our own!
