What you'll do

We´ll meet in the morning shortly after 7 o´clock at the main railway station. There, we´ll take the train towards the Alps and go skiing in either Garmisch or at the Zugspitze, depending on the conditions. Of course Snowboarders are welcome too! If you don´t have own skis, don´t worry, we can rent some directly at the resort. Skiing clothes could also possibly be rented there. Once we´re there, I´ll show you the resort and all the sights and help you improve your skiing with a few tips. For lunch, we´ll visit one of the traditional ski huts and then end the day on the slopes until the lift closes or until I manage to get you exhausted;) Afterwards we´ll take the train back to Munich together. Important: You have to be a good enough skiier to get down all runs safely.

Michael

Hello there, my name ist Michi, I study in Munich go skiing whenever university allows me to. I´ve been working as a Ski Instructor since already 5 seasons and because that usually doesn´t work too well in the summer I´m also a Windsurf Instructor. I love being outside and share my passion for my sport with others!

Where you'll be

The "Zugspitze" is the highest mountain in Germany, and because of that it offers great conditions until the end of April. From the summit you can have a great view and can even see the lakes around Munich, such as the "Starnberger See" and the "Ammersee". Garmisch, on the other hand, has the bigger resort, even better food and also amazing views. One of the most well-known runs there is the "Kandahar", the steepest hill in the worldcup.
