I took the 15-minute conga learning class with Manuel while visiting Florida, and it was fantastic! Manuel is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about teaching music. He didn’t just show me rhythms — he shared the cultural and historical background behind them, which made the experience even more meaningful. In just a short time, I learned a lot and had a great time doing it. Highly recommend this class to anyone who loves music....

Manny is awesome!! He’s patient and he’s a great instructor. Manny is also very knowledgeable about the history of the conga drum and all genres of music. My family and I truly enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to anyone that loves music and is interested in learning how to play the conga drum. I would definitely go back.

My conga lesson with Manny was magical! The studio is inviting and well appointed. The didactic portion of the lesson is well organized, easy to follow and just enough depth to give you an appreciation for the conga without overwhelming you. The music used to teach you the versatility of rhythm you learn are classic hits from varying music genres which keeps it exciting. You leave feeling like even if you never decide to play the conga again that at least you rocked it for a day. Lol. But hands down the best part is Manny’s passion for the instrument and warm personality. That’s what makes the experience magical. It was refreshing seeing someone live their passion. We had planned this as a family activity but were unable to do so. I ended up taking the class alone and I am so happy I did. I definitely plan to return with my family if we are ever back in the area. Hopefully by then I will be better at my heel, toe, close slap, open slap strokes. Take the class!

My wife and I came from out of town and to spend an afternoon doing something different, we attended a class to learn more about the congas and we were very impressed with the professional and enthusiastic attention that Manuel showed us. We left with a more informed and educated notion about this historic instrument and at the same time gained a new friend full of very interesting stories and anecdotes about his life.
