What you'll do
Explore Costa Brava, the marvelous coastal landscape characterized by Aleppo and Stone pine trees overhanging the steep cliffs and sandy beaches with crystal clear water. We will start our adventurous coastal path - Camino de Ronda, in Sant Feliu de Guixols and follow the rocky coastline while discovering some typical aromatic plants that grow in the Mediterranean.
This path served as a patrolling frontier against groups of smugglers after the Franco’s dictatorship took over in 1939. In an hour at most, we will reach the splendid beach in Sant Pol de S’Agaró. We will change into swim clothes and get ready at the Escola de Vela for our kayaking explorations.
Our sea kayaking adventure will lead us to one secret cave where we will enjoy the first refreshing bath. The sea kayaks will allow us to gently propel along the amazing coastal cliffs while enjoying the marine ecosystems including seagulls, cormorants, and a variety of fish.
We will find a secluded spot among the rocks to enjoy some crystal clear lagoon dip and a snorkel if desired. In the end, I will recommend local restaurants so that you can reward yourselves with a famous seafood dish called paella. There will also be free time to enjoy the beach.
Other things to note
The kayaking activity will be determined by the current sea conditions on the day of the experience.

I am a qualified mountain guide and kayaking enthusiast. I have been kayaking ever since I can remember, beginning on the river Vltava in Prague, Czech Republic. During my master studies in tourism management (EMTM), I lived in Denmark, Slovenia, and Spain and had the unique opportunity to learn the core skills in international tourism hospitality. I have spent 5 years in Catalonia and take full advantage, with my family, of the rough but magnificent coast of the Costa Brava for kayaking & paddle boarding explorations.

Such a great experience! The whole day was very exciting and interesting. I didn’t think I could jump off the rocks into the sea but Stepan and the others encouraged me so that I managed to do it. It was so fun! Stepan also let me use his goggles so I could see the fish under the water which was really magical! The kayaking was also very good. Stepan led us around enchanting cave and on some fun waves. Would 100% recommend. The place we went to also had lovely restaurants.

The Tour with Stepan was great! Our group joined from a different location than Barcelona and it was no problem for Stepan. The stories he told along the way were interesting and touched upon several topics, such as history, local traditions or the wine production. The kayaking itself was a lot of fun and even though it was a busy day, Stepan led us to a swimming spot with no other kayak groups.
All in all we had a great day and would definitely recommend the tour with Stepan :)
