What you'll do

Dubrovnik Early Bird Walking Tour

Let us use the first light of the sun for a walking tour in Dubrovnik.
We will walk through the maze of narrow streets while the town is still sleeping and you will experience "real" Dubrovnik without the usual crowds.
The tour starts at the main entrance gate next to Amerling fountain. We start walking over the shiny main street that you can only see "empty" early in the morning and get the real feel of its beauty.
By using hidden corners of the old town you will explore history, legends and curiosities. On our walk you will see all main monuments and have an introduction for your stay in Dubrovnik that will help you to plan your days and take the best out of it.
Experience todays life of the citizens living in the old town, feel the spirit of the past and dive into an unforgettable experience by joining us from the establishment of Dubrovnik until the collapse of Yugoslavia and countries independency.

Hello dear guests!
My name is Marina and I am an official licensed tour guide in Dubrovnik.
I was born in Dubrovnik but moved to Munich when I was a child and love to my homeland brought me back in 2004.
Today I am proud to be a tour guude in my home town to numerous guests from all over the world. I studied at RIT ( Rochester Institute of Technology) Dubrovnik and I graduated in 2009.
I was trying to combine work and passion that finally brought me to the decision to become a guide. Since 2011 I am enjoying every single day by showing our visitors the beauty of this amazing town. This tour is also guided by my co-hosts and they as well, just like myself, enjoy what they do, they love Dubrovnik and you'll have a lot of fun with us.

We had our tour with Ivana early in the morning. She was a ray of sunshine with a lot of knowledge and passion for her city. Her English was clear and super easy to understand, which was great for the non native speakers in our group. Definitely strongly recommend!

My husband and I had a great tour with Sonja! She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely happy to tell us about her city and country. We got to ask many questions and it felt like a very personal experience. We would recommend doing a tour as soon as you get to town, then the rest of your visit is more meaningful.

Ana was a very nice tour guide and after a missed connection between us she more than made up for it. She is personable and knowledgeable.

Andre gave insight about Dubrovnik old town which is very informative. She also shared some of her personal story which made the tour more lively.

Andreja was excellent. She knew her material cold, but we never felt like it was a recording being repeated. The content was interesting, one part history, one part local life in the Old Town, one part interesting tidbit one would never know about. The time flew by.

This was a wonderful tour. 8am in the morning the ships haven’t dropped off all their people and it’s still peaceful. Around 11 it’s starts getting crazy. She was a wonderful speaker, give personal stories. She was honest, and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this again.

More tips

Since it's an early tour, I suggest bringing a bottle of water with you. On the meeting place, which is Amerling fountain, outside of the city walls, you'll recognise me by a printed "Early Bird" sign
