What you'll do
You will begin your 3 hour eco-experience by meeting me at my home on the bay. We will leave in a 24’ Bay boat from my dock and first see a local point of interest, “toilet seat cut”. You can only see this by boat. We will continue our ride through “Cow Pens” and learn how it got its name. Along our way we will search for manatees, dolphins, iquanas, and birds. We will travel to a spot where large Tarpon feed. We then visit a locals only hangout called the “ sandbar”, a local hangout for boaters which can only be accessed by boat for a walk or swim in the pristine waters of the Florida Keys. The “sandbar” is so famous with the locals that a beer was named after it! Lots of local flavor to see on this part of the trip. Snorkeling gear is available on the boat if you would like to try it in the shallow waters. Your guide will be Captain Randy, a longtime salty Captain in the Keys.
I have been a backcountry fishing guide in the Keys for over 30 years. I have won many awards over the years in fishing tournaments. I am an expert in backcountry fishing as well as fly fishing. Sharing the things I love about living and playing in the Florida Keys is a personal passion of mine. As an Airbnb super host I have had the opportunity to host guests from around the world and have shared my Eco tours with them for several years.
