History is however so much more than the bare facts, so the stories that get wrapped around the events tend to be even more fascinating and memorable. Where you'll be

Galway is a fine medieval town, but it has alot of 'hidden' history. We start in the area of Eyre Square, looking for hidden history in the grand old Meyrick Hotel. After a diverting story about a stubbon Irish donkey we're then off to find Colombus's hidden drinking den, the city walls and even where Ed Sheeran knocked out tunes in his busking days. And that's before we get to the Claddagh ring;s pirate and the Irish version of Atlantis !
