About your host

We have been running walking tours for over 10 years now, and just love the opportunity to show off our fabulous city. I have always loved history, and used to teach it when working as a educator. Where you'll be

Galway is a fine medieval town, but it has alot of 'hidden' history. We start in the area of Eyre Square, looking for hidden history in the grand old Meyrick Hotel. After a diverting story about a stubbon Irish donkey we're then off to find Colombus's hidden drinking den, the city walls and even where Ed Sheeran knocked out tunes in his busking days. And that's before we get to the Claddagh ring;s pirate and the Irish version of Atlantis !
