What you'll do

Celtic Mindfulness Sound Meditation is a one hour relaxation experience open to everyone. It includes the following : 1.) Guided Mindfulness Meditation. Relax, breathe and follow the simple instructions . 2.) Celtic Music designed for Mindfulness and deep relaxation. Experience full immersion into the sounds. Experience awareness of sound healing and the absence of THINKING. 3.) Celtic chanting using ancient Gaelic phrases. Join in with the Chant if you feel inclined or simply relax and let the energy of the chant flow through your entire being. 4.) Experience deep stillness and freedom from the thinking, swirling mind that many of us deal with every day.

I am Frank O’Connor – a Certified Mindfulness Instructor (CMI) and the founder of the Celtic Mindfulness Sound Meditation Group.  I spent 30+ years as a professional musician and composer.  I decided to merge my two passions – Mindfulness Meditation and Celtic music. Hence Celtic Mindfulness Sound Meditation was born.  This one hour experience includes guided mindfulness meditation, original Celtic music and Celtic chanting. The experience is open to everyone, whether or not you have meditated before. The idea is a simple one. To take a vacation from the thinking, swirling mind. To experience, through the vibration and frequency of the sounds, mindful relaxation on a deep level that resonates physically, mentally and emotionally. I also give you access to a 20 minute recorded guided meditation to use at home after the experience.

Where you'll be

We hold our Celtic Mindfulness Sound Meditation at Mindful Petaluma Center in Petaluma California. It is a unique and beautiful space set aside for mindfulness meditation, yoga and recovery based groups. I am also available for one on one Mindfulness coaching for those who are new to the practice of mindfulness.

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. No experience necessary

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
