What you'll do

We will meet at the vibrant neighborhood of Temescal, Oakland and take a drive to an off leash park in the east bay (20-30 minutes generally), then we're going to go an a fun adventure and watch the dogs have a blast! They love being outside and so should you. This park is in stunning natural setting with great views, and theres a ton of interesting reclaimed object art around. We can take some photos too, Mary is currently in Circus dog training school so she knows a ton of cute tricks and she can def pose for and with us. She’s very social and it’s awesome to see her interactions with dogs we meet along the way. Expect to walk for about 2-3 miles, mostly flat terrain or we can walk less and explore a little more, as well as play fetch (she is a total fetch master!). Please note that some days these areas tend to be windy so make sure to pack some layers! Then upon our return we check out the Temescal alley where we can have an ice cream or a coffee drink. I've been living here for 7+ years and love how vibrant and interesting this cluster is. From 15+ restaurants of worldly cuisine, to a houseplant shop, an apothecary, a wine shop, there is something for everyone to check out in Temescal.

I've been a photographer for 20+ years and have been working with dogs for the past 4. I have my amazing and very photogenic sidekick, Mary (Instagram @mary_puppers) and we like to explore the East bay a few times a week and if you are a dog lover, you’ll be delighted to join us! I'm gonna take you to the Albany Bulb, which has lots of funky art from reclaimed materials and stunning views of the bay, as well as a doggie beach. We can explore, play fetch, take photos and we will end up back in the Temescal Alley where I will give you a rundown on this vibrant Oakland area and we can fuel up on coffee or ice cream! If you’re traveling with a furry friend you’re welcome to bring it along as well, granted it’s friendly and does well off-leash.

What's included
