What you'll do

We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome unique facts about the area on our several picturesque stopping points! There will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water! The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs (a slight workout, but don't worry we take breaks) and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready for lots of great local nature and wildlife along the way!
Other things to note
The $10 per boat launch fee is included in the price. AirBnB does not collect taxes but we owe taxes so that has been included in the price as well! Check out our website for additional times.

I believe that the best way to experience nature is in a completely clear kayak which is why I founded Get Up And Go Kayaking! I am proud to host the top experience near Orlando! Clear kayaking allows you to have an immersive perspective on the unique wildlife and nature we have here in Florida - I like to think of it as having the best window seat to the 'real' Central Florida!

If you're not paddling with myself, you'll be guided by Austin, Ashley, or Nick, well-traveled local Orlando lovers with backgrounds in adventuring and hosting!

Where you'll be

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose. From there we'll paddle through the winding crystal blue waterway towards Kelly Park and eventually make our way back to our launch!

Not worth the money. The idea sounds amazing, but it was green water except a small area at the turn around point (which was very shallow water) There is no place to jump off or rope swing like advertised, and the kayaks weren’t really see through on the bottom, but didn’t matter because there are no fish to look at. We also didn’t feel this was guided. He was super friendly but the only interaction was checking in and a few minutes during the middle. Also, not the company’s faults but most people kayaking were smoking and loud which took away from the overall experience for us being non-smokers. Like I said cool idea, and we still had fun but I definitely don’t feel like we got our money’s worth.

This is definitely a unique experience. Booked this for my family of 3 couples and me single rider. Many of the couples struggled through their first time riding tandem but Ashley was patient and helpful. She kept checking in on everyone. Unfortunately it had rained prior to our date so the majority of the ride was in dark brown/green water. The small crystal blue part was worth the trip. Ashley answered all our questions about the ecosystem and pointed out animals on our ways like herons turtles and deer. Note to new kayakers you might be a little sore the next day from the work going up but the tranquility of the ride back is worth it.

This experience is a must if you’re visiting Orlando or surrounding areas. It was easy to book, easy to find, and supremely enjoyable. If you’re into Fern Gulley and Jurassic Park - don’t skip this one. Ashley took her time to make everyone feel special. Individually everyone was included and made to feel comfortable and able! If you’re a beginner - do not worry. If you’re advanced - still do this. The location and the jewel toned waters are truly unbelievable. Make sure you get the super cool slow mo pic at the end of the float (Ashley will know what you mean!)

This tour was amazing, our host was Ashley and she was really friendly, at the beginning my husband and I did not know what we were doing; lol even though she gave us a brief training session prior to actually going in the water we struggled for like half of the tour until we finally got it, she checked on us constantly.
