What you'll do
Let me help you dispel fears of the bush and organise the logistics needed to experience bushwalking, including, holding an online meeting to identify your specific needs.
We meet at the start of the Bushwalk; show you the beautiful flora such as the different species of eucalyptus trees, and wild flowers. The walk itself takes about 3 hours, but depending on fitness levels, and actual length of time taken for mandatory rest stops, total time in the bush could be up to five hours.
Other things to note
Bushwalking is a serious activity & comes with some risk of illness and injury from dehydration (common), sprains, falls, or snake bite (rare). Be prepared, get clearance from your medical doctor, and buy comprehensive travel insurance.

I'm founder of Bushwalk with Bob. I've led Perth visitors and residents into the beautiful forests near our city, where some confessed to experiencing life-changing moments. Since I started hiking regularly in 2008, I have taken up tour-guiding courses and become an End-to-Ender after walking the 1,000km Bibbulmun Track hike from Perth to Albany.
Where you'll be
My walks are carefully planned, and the track selected after holding a discussion on your expectations, past experience, fitness level and weather.
We shall be walking on a defined track, with markers at suitable distances apart. Some walks take us past a camp site or a lookout, or a walk across a dam. The walking distance will be about 10 km.
The activity ends at the starting point, or in a cafe or tavern for lunch (not included in price).

Bob took my daughter and myself to the Mundaring Weir in the Beelu National Park. Having explained to Bob that I wanted to stretch my legs after a very long flight but might be suffering jet lag Bob chose this location as it wasn’t too challenging but was very natural and has a rich collection of local trees, good tracks and very tame wallabies. Bob was very courteous, picked us up at a location of our choice and provided home grown mango, water and hiking sticks. This hike wasn’t too challenging but gave us a chance to visit somewhere that we wouldn’t have found on our own. The hike was lovely but the drive through the suburbs and visit to Bob’s favourite Malaysian restaurant really added to the experience. Bob also gave useful tips on what else to do in Perth.

My bushwalk experience with Bob was insightful and enjoyable. Bob is kind, thoughtful and places strong emphasis on safety. Along our walk, we shared great conversations and Bob was very knowledgeable about the different species of plants we encountered along the way. I would highly recommend the bushwalk if you are looking for something different to do in Perth. Thank you Bob for the lovely morning!(:

My hike with Bob was the highlight of my visit to Perth. For my experience, he chose an interesting segment of the 1000 K Bibbulmun track that starts in Kalamunda and goes all the way south to Albany. He was able to show me the differences between the jarra and the red gum trees along the trail. We saw a large bob-tail lizard and a kangaroo. He gave detailed instructions on how to get to the start of the trail, fed me a chicken curry lunch and took me back to the hotel at the end of the hike. I would like to go hiking again with Bob when I come back to Perth. All in all, I felt that this was a very valuable experience.

The bushwalk I had with Bob was an awesome experience that I may not complete it myself. A lifetime experience which I didn't get to do it 2years ago when I'm visiting. He is a very experienced guide in trekking. I learned so much from him. We had fun trekking, hiking, driving and a good late lunch. Not forgetting the tea & snack he provided at the base camp. His mission is to help people to find solitude in the forrest, enjoy Forrest bathing like the Japanese does, and I wish him the best to continue this experience in more years to come.
So, just book him! It's worth every penny you paid.
