About your host

I am the procurement director and head of tea tenders at Teance Fine Teas. I have spent years traveling around the world, visiting tea gardens and learning about the ancient art of artisan tea. I specialize in teaching classes on white, green, oolong, pu-erh, and herbal teas from China, Taiwan, India, Japan, and locally. I also incorporate mindfulness practices, understanding the health benefits…

Where you'll be

Discover a secret tea room tucked away in the heart of Berkeley. The hippest spot in town is typically only by invitation. All the local connoisseurs earned the privilege to hang with Darius and enjoy a flight from the most unique custom curated tea selection, collected from over 15 years in the tea industry. High stools along the tea counter give you a front row seat to the modern tea ceremony and the deep insight given with each tea. TheTeaSpot
