What you'll do

Your visit will begin with a brief tour of our farm and introductions to some of our smaller friends (i.e. Pygoras goats, Sheep and overly friendly Barn Cats ) with a short story of our 1850 homestead located in The Historic Hudson Valley on 25 bucolic acres .

Next, Introduction to Llama/Alpaca 101 and why these soft and fluffy critters are the new Unicorn of animals. We will cover basic safety rules and answer any questions before we begin our trek.

We will guide your Llama/Alpaca trek through gentle pastures, paddocks, past a stocked Bass pond and encourage Llama/Alpaca Selfies along the way. We hope to leave you a few minutes at the end to stop by the Farm Store and find a special farm memento.

Please note that high heels and flip flops are not encouraged and bug spray(during warmer months only) is recommended.

This experience is for participants 8yrs and older.

I am a passionate educator and committed steward to the land, our animals call home. I have been raising and rescuing camelids for over ten years, rehabilitating them to be pets , pasture companions and 4H Youth Development project animals. Our animals are hand raised with care and respect. Allowed plenty of pasture to enjoy, room to run and animal friends to play with.

I enjoy teaching people about camelids and their many amazing qualities. They are more than just a fiber and/or pack animal, they are docile and personable companions that will melt your heart at your first meeting.

Oh man what a friendly and lovely little excursion! Andrea keeps groups small (and outdoors of course) so social distancing not a concern. She makes sure everyone gets a chance to pet and take photos with all the animals, who, by the way, are so sweet and hilarious. Would definitely recommend !!!

The experience at Clover Brooke Farm was just lovely. We really enjoyed the tour and the hike with our new friends (humans and animals). This experience was a fantastic way to start the new year. Definitely recommend checking out Clover Brooke if you’re in the area.

A complete delight! Andrea was an incredibly gracious and knowledge host, giving us a tour of the farm, it’s history, and of course the animals. The llamas and alpacas are hilariously sweet and quirky and Andrea has personal stories for all of them. Beans the goat will crack you up. And don’t forget the llama family drama. Make sure you wear good shoes you don’t mind stepping in 💩 with and weather appropriate clothing and you’ll have a blast!
