What you'll do

I will take you to the main points of the Reykjanes Peninsula, which is a UNESCO Global Geopark and part of the European and Global Geopark, and to some of my secret spots there (1-hour drive south-west of Reykjavik in my very comfortable car ). The peninsula, with its diversity of volcanic and geothermal activity, is well suited to be a Geopark as it is the only place in the world where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is visible above sea level. There are old craters, fissures, and bubbling, geothermal mud pools. By the sea, there are many places with amazing rock formations, most of them very dark grey. They are particularly spectacular when the wind is blowing and the sea violently hammers upon the rocks, wave after wave. While we look around, I will take pictures of you in the beautiful scenery and tell you some interesting facts about the area. I will take you also to a natural bath that not many people knows about (*depending on weather conditions) -Highlights - -Grindavik - a smal fishing town and it secrets -Valahnúkamöl sea cliffs -Sandvik - the bridge between continents -Reykjanes Lighthouse -Brimketill lava rock pool -Gunnuhver -Lava fields -Krisuvikurberg Cliffs -The geothermal area of Krýsuvik -Kleifarvatn lake ( deepest lake of Reykjanes) -Grænavatn - Green water crater And more of hidden spots.
