Salam! My name is Brahim. I am very interested in artisanal art. I was working in the rug industry in Marrakesh and when I moved to Sale-Rabat, I got amazed by the craft they are making. My mission is to provide my guests with experiences that reflect our culture in terms of values. Also, I am dedicated to enhancing the situation of the crafters of the Oulja complex culturally and financially.

I felt as though that the experience that was purchased was different to what I experienced, and a couple of extra costs that weren't mentioned. We caught a taxi with the guide to the complex (at my expense 50dhs) My experience was ment to be hosted by Brahmin and I was only told that it wouldn't be 2hrs before the experience. We had an other person (yassine) his English was okay, though he lacked knowledge and experience about pottery. He did okay with the tour of the studios, it was his first time. Also the pottery experience was ment to be with Hamid a 30 year old man, which it was with a different potter(which is fine, the potter we got was great) but we were only informed that the other potter was on holidays after the experience. After playing with clay which was amazing and fun the experience was over. We got a taxi with the guide and got dropped back to the tram station (at my cost 50dhs). The experience mentions painting and decorating pottery the option was not given to us. Also the pottery that was created can't be taken after moudled as it needs to be cooked which takes a few days. We left a day after the experience so we couldn't take the finished product. Overall while it was an enjoyable experience and our host was nice I felt as though the experience I received was not what I was promised and paid for. The team needs to make participants aware that transport fee are not included.

This was a wonderful experience. Brahim, and his friend Bader were very nice, and open. The directions for the meeting point were clear, and easy to find. First we took a cab all the way to the pottery place, and then we took an informative tour around the place, and I got to know new things about pottery work thanks to this experience. Then I got to meet the instructor and do it on my and It was sooo much fun. It was a pleasant and a friendly experience. There was alot of passion in the air. I highly recommend it.

This experience is a must for visiting Rabat/Salé. Brahim is a genuinely kind local who knows the potters at the pottery market. The potters allow you to come to their study, and teach you how to create pottery! It’s a fun, hands-on experience. You get to get a little dirty working with the clay so dress accordingly and bring a change of clothes if you aren’t going home after. Brahim speaks English very well and made meeting up with him very easy. He met us near where we were staying and took us to the market. He stayed with us after the experience to make sure we met back up with our host family. He made the experience smooth, easy, and very fun!

The host is very open-minded and has a good knowledge in traditional Moroccan crafting ) There are many crafters at the place where you can see their products and even buy something and then bring with yourself. Brahim will reply to your questions while showing you the artisanal just before the course. The course itself has a great and friendly athmosphere.
