What you'll do

There is no dish of Spanish cuisine more internationally known than paella and you can be part of its cooking and tasting. Learn why we use each of its ingredients, where they come from, their history and evolution of this traditional dish of the Mediterranean cuisine.

Our team will introduce and teach you to do not only this dish, but also to know how to make a traditional and special sangria with the best ingredients of the area so that you can accompany it with the exquisite paella that you will cook with our chef.

In addition, all this will happen while you enjoy the stunning views in our rooftop located in one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the Cristina Building, former Hotel Cristina, founded for the Ibero American Exhibition of 1929 and designed by López de Otero, the most influential Spanish architect of the time in the Art Deco movement. From our rooftop you will enjoy views of the Cathedral of Seville, Torre del Oro, Guadalquivir river and Cartuja, among others.
Other things to note
Meeting point is locate at Uno de Delicias Restaurant, right in front of Torre del Oro and Helvetia's Building. Our staff from the restaurante will take you to the rooftop.

Just want to inform our guests that is not a cooking class but a showcooking which means it is a demonstration of our chef and customers do not participate in the cooking (due the recipe's circunstances and safety).

We are Javier, María and Antonio, a group of professionals of different restorarion areas who have gathered knowledge to be able to teach everyone our city from the 5 senses. Javier is a chef with years of experience studying at one of the best catering schools in Europe, years of experience in which he has been trained in the most traditional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine. María, an excellent room manager with knowledge of local wines as well as other culinary varieties and, finally, Antonio, a historian and engineer who will teach us the history of Seville.

Where you'll be

We will be at our space located at the Rooftop of the Cristina's Building. We will have access to both the indoor and outdoor space during the experience and after finishing it. At the indoor area we will experience all the cooking of each elaboration, while outdoors, the historical guide and tasting.

Antonio combines his love of Spanish food and wine with his appreciation of Spanish history to really paint a great picture of how the food came to be. He was enthusiastic and made us all feel welcome. I am so happy he shared his recipes for sangria, olives, and seafood paella. The rooftop location was great too!

Une expérience unique : un énorme merci à Antonio et Francesco pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse, leur professionnalisme et les attentions qu’ils ont eues pour nos 3 enfants ! Antonio and his chef made the experience completely unique. He is filled with knowledge about Spanish Gastronomy and the sangria and paella were divine. At the end when I asked for advice regarding flamenco and put us in the direction of a fantastic 12 seater show. Will recommend to everyone

Antonio really knows what he is talking about. He was fun, engaging, and made our group feel incredibly welcome. His knowledge of wines, Spanish history/culture, and food are remarkable and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this. Plus the rooftop setting is beautiful at night. Definitely recommend.
