What you'll do

Welcome everyone!

Our day starts with Muyil, a sacred site where - Mother nature allowing - we'll find howler & spider monkeys, beautiful endemic birds, rare orquid species and respect inspiring reptiles & mammals, as we walk through the temples deep inside the jungle and the mangroves on silent introspecting wooden paths.

We'll do a 2hrs boat ride across two of Sian Ka'an main lagoons, swimming, birdwatching & being dragged effortless as the current flows back to the sea in the ancient & careless inspiring canals connecting each of the lagoons.

Optionally, we'll visit a mercado and other places downtown, offering us a local insight to appreciate the native culture from different perspectives. I'll suggest either rural cuisine or hand-picked places to create a regional gastronomical tasting menu for experiencing culture through our palate too.

Lastly, if coming in couple or group, contact me at my mobile & Whats +52 984 2071916 before booking to offer you a better rate or for any other inquiries. Let me know what's that you'd like to see, as any experience can be crafted as per your preferences and our knowledge of the area.

While sometimes a volunteer professor, I like enjoying the simple lifestyle of rural villages, whenever not being at Tulum, stargazing with my cat crew.

I started recommending places as a host, working as an hotelier for years, fully passionate about service, before certifying myself as a guide and creating a tourism social project to transmit my love for the cultural diversity in Mexico, while enhancing the living conditions of the groups we collaborate with, of our global society could be said too.

We'll get deeper into what most people look and take pics at without seeing the parallel dimensions of a young country, yet historically rich territory, where native cultures are mingled in modern cities and top touristic destinations, offering us a priceless contrasting glance to the origins of our human culture.

Spending a day with Alejandro, his colleagues, and others on the tour, as well as the locals we met, was absolutely the best experience I had during my stay in Tulum. The locations we visited were beautiful, the people we met were warm and welcoming, Alejandro was very thoughtful and brought coffee, tea, plenty of fruits and snacks to have during the day. He took photos and videos and really made the experience very special and personal. I loved every moment of this and am truly grateful I had the experience. What an amazing experience! I learned so much about the history and culture of the Mayan people, the beautiful scenery and nature outside of Tulum (including the rainforest, animals, cenotes we saw and experienced), and I was also able to practice my Spanish. My boyfriend and I were picked up and dropped off, at our hotel, by Alejandro and his righthand man that day, Hugo (not sure of the spelling!). They were amazing tour guides, kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating! Pictures were taken throughout the day and Alejandro sent them to us after the trip- this was incredible because I'm horrible with taking pictures. We had an amazing meal cooked made by a wonderful and welcoming Mayan family, we learned hands-on how to make the perfect tortilla, and I swam in a cenote with bats! We got to experience a traditional mayan ceremony, enjoy a quick zip-line before paddling across a beautiful lake, and enjoy fresh fruit and pastries that Alejandro had brought for us. This day was unforgettable and I highly recommend taking advantage of this unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would bring comfortable shoes to walk and "hike" in, a towel and dry change of clothes for after swimming in the cenote and some extra pesos to tip (for donations to support local programs).

Alex was great guide who knows the area very well. His knowledge is very authentic and I had a great experience in Sian’kan. Swimming in the lagoon was the best experience in this trip.
