What you'll do
Upon arrival, introductions and guided tour of the property with animals in tow. Afterwards, at your leisure, feel free to wanter and take in the scenery or interact with the animals. If you plan to get in the stream, water shoes are encouraged, as the rocks are slippery. But well worth it for the natural water slide! Local fresh roasted coffee and variety of teas available upon request. We offer you the chance to relax and enjoy a slow-paced time on the farm. Hanging out with goats may be the secret to happiness.

We are a working, hobby farm located in Garrett County, MD. Minutes from Deep Creek Lake and interstate 68. Beautiful all year-round, we live and maintain our 100yr old farm with active pastures with a pair of highland cows, goats, sheep, chickens, guineas and our miniature horse, Peanut. And bees. Lot's of bees. We offer the opportunity to wander the farm, interacting with the animals, enjoy the serene, stream-side pavilion or natural pool. Our own, local raw honey and fresh eggs are usually available for purchase as well.

Where you'll be
Pavilion with kitchen set alongside Buffalo Run with native brook trout. Further downstream, a large natural pool for (always cold) swimming or simply sitting/playing on the rocks. Buildings to visit: chicken coop and old 4-person outhouse; goat house, barn. And our little pond with a duck and fish.
