About your host

In 2006, in an agricultural community in Northern Vermont, I developed, implemented and evaluated a sustainability curriculum & school garden for my Masters degree from UVM. In 2008, I helped Thomas and Constance Broz found Farm Discovery at Live Earth to empower youth and families to regenerate healthy food, farming, social and natural systems starting with the basics, food on the farm.

About Farm Discovery at Live Earth

Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in the Pajaro Valley community to empower youth and families (to take action) to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Our home, Live Earth Farm, is a 150 acre patchwork of working organic farm, riparian corridor, oak and redwood forest in the Pajaro Valley of Santa Cruz County, California.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Farm Discovery at Live Earth. .

What we’ll do

On the farm you will get the opportunity to connect with the seasons through all the elements of the farm that contribute to healthy soil and delicious food!
