My proposal is to take visitors to discover the beauty of our greatest trophy: The unique and wonderful Nature of the largest urban forest in the world and our Tijuca National Park! We will do an ecological walk to Pedra Bonita of extreme natural beauty with preserved forest. (690 m altitude, almost 360 degrees view of the City, mountains, beaches and forest.) On board a convertible Toyota Xingu jeep, ideal for contemplating and photograph magnificent landscapes, watching birds, magnificent tropical flora, ancient coffee farms and spectacular and unknown waterfalls

We had the most amazing time on this tour. Werner was an amazing guide, it was so much fun driving around in the jeep with him! This is the perfect tour to see some nature without travelling too far from Rio itself, and the secret waterfall at the end was the cherry on top of a beautiful day. Only issue was communication with Roberto beforehand. We arrived at the meeting spot only to find out that he had sent Werner to our accommodation to pick us up. It turned out Werner had not actually been sent to the hotel we were staying at but to a totally different place. We found each other in the end, and it was a very small problem compared to the amazing day we had but it did delay the trip and picking up the other guests by an hour.

Absolut empfehlenswert 😊

Roberto was a wonderful guide. The tour exceeded our expectations. The vehicle we went on was very unique. Roberto took us through parque da cidade, a beautiful park where he told us about the plants. We then drove through some lovely neighborhoods and also went to the favela Rocinha. Along the way to the waterfall he made sure to stop at all the look outs where we caught beautiful views of the city. The hike to the waterfall was not difficult but you definitely need to have some endurance. The hike is steep and you hike in water through rocks. We stopped at the Vista Chinesa and at sunset we went to Joatinga beach which was amazing. Roberto is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Don’t hesitate to book this experience.
