About your host, Bradley
Brad Bennett, aka "Racer X Tokyo," is an outdoor guide and educator who has made Tokyo his home for 26 years. He is the owner of Freewheeling Japan which offers human powered motion experiences throughout Japan. He also loves quality food and drink and is stoked to share his knowledge of Tokyo with you. Chad Feyen is a graphic designer, videographer and the Director for the Cycling Embassy of Japan. He is passionate about promoting infrastructure and safety for cyclists in Japan.
What we’ll do
See the last vestiges of old Tokyo tucked away in the city's west side. In the quiet afternoon, we'll safely pedal along the shrines and temples lining the historic Kanda River, stopping for traditional Japanese snacks and catching a glimpse of local students playing sports. What I’ll provide
Japanese Lunch or Dinner 󴀁
Hand rolled dumplings or a seasonal lunch box. I will buy the main course for dinner and help guests order what they like.

Guests ages 13 and up can attend.
Cameras are recommended. All the bikes have baskets and fenders. Vegan and Halal choices for lunch are available on this tour. Please let me know your food requests or any dietary concerns.
Where we’ll be
From my design studio in Sasazuka we will cross Kanana Steet and explore the historic temple area of Eifuku and the University town of Meidaimae. Continuing through the fashionable and picturesque backstreets of the Setagaya area, we will visit Hanegi Park where families come to play and relax. We will return by cycling through and visiting vibrant shopping districts like Shimokitazawa, Gotokuji and Shimo-takaido.

Teenagers under 18 are okay to join if they are with a parent and can safely ride a bike. Please ask about a possible private experience for your family or for children under the age of 13.
