What you'll do

We will be learning credential techniques for Portraiture sculpture. This will be broken down into simple processes for the beginner or intermediate sculptors. We will be learning the process of Ecorché (sculpting each individual muscle onto the skeleton), and learning them along the way, bring your sketchbooks :D

After we know the anatomic makeup of the bust, its time to create one for ourselves.

You will surprise yourself at how much accumulating the knowledge of our anatomic makeup can enhance your sculpting skills!! That's a promise :D

Come home with an anatomic muscle model you can always have to refer back to and a portraiture bust, skin and all!
Other things to note
Perfect for beginners or intermediate folk, we will be going through all processes.

Socially distant, safe, Sculpture class. I am a commercial sculptor, I have worked in the film industry for the last five years, sculpting for Marvel, Warner Brothers, Fox Studios etc. I have a Bachelors Degree in Ceramic Design and I am currently doing my masters in Central St.Martins, in Fine Art.
I have recently worked in hyperrealism. I want to share the vital Echorche and portraiture sculpting processes which I have learned, with you.

What an awesome afternoon spent with Emma, set in her studio she taught us the muscle configuration of the head/face while we sculpted it onto a cast model of a real skull Emma herself is so lovely and friendly. Great taste in music & snacks were provided while i sculpted (and sang) away, thank you x

Had an amazing time with Emma, she is very talented in what she does. The studio was cosy and you can tell a lot of great things were created there. I went into the experience wanting to have something that somewhat resembled me, and Emma gave great tips and tricks that were so simple but really made a difference. If you’re trying to achieve something specific, don’t shy away from asking for advice. Our group consisted of close friends and loved ones and we had a blast working on our pieces listening to the wind and rain outside - if anyone is familiar with the Danish concept of “hygge”, this experience pretty much summed it up for me. Great company, great atmosphere and great coffee ;)
