What you'll do

Once we have met and gotten to the park entrance we will walk through the main trails of the Tropical Humid Forest in Manuel Antonio National Park which is the best park in Costa Rica to see animals.

This park is very famous for its rich biodiversity and an expert local guide is required to spot the animals and plants while share natural history about them.

I offer you an easy hike of 2.5 hours surrounded by NATURE and hidden creatures like Three and Two toed SLOTHS, MONKEYS, FROGS, BIRDS, LIZARDS, INSECTS and much more.

SURELY, we're gonna enjoy and get breathtaking views of all these using my brand new ATX-SWAROVSKI-SCOPE, getting through it unique HD pictures and videos of the animals included only for you.

Finally, after spotting out many animals we will get to Manuel Antonio Beach, the best and safest beach in the area with turquoise water and white sand where we finish the tour with the last recommendations and you will have enough time for swimming up.

* A CLEANING PROTOCOLE BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE TOUR IS A MUST-TO-DO.

** PARK RANGERS ARE FOUND ONLY INSIDE THE NATIONAL PARKS ANY OTHER BY THE STREET COULD BE A SCAMMER.

Hey amigos,

I'm the owner and certified local tour guide of Official Guide Costa Rica with a great experience working in naturalist activities and animals sighting through all Costa Rica.

I'm currently working around the Central Pacific area of the country where I live in (Quepos). I considere myself a passionate nature lover who enjoy learning and teaching about the Costa Rica's biodiversity to make people realize how important is the conservation of our natural resources.

I grew up in a small town called Golfito in our southwest surrounded by pristine mountains and ocean where I got my interest of becoming a tour guide and showing tourists the amazing flora and fauna that Costa Rica has for showing up.

I'm known for having an eagle eye in the forest to spot animals that would be impossible to see with your naked eye.

Mauro is truly knowledgeable on the many subjects he covers when showing you the amazing natural beauty of the park. He has an amazing eye for finding many wild animals that would be completely missed by a typical visitor. Besides, his obvious love for nature is present during the whole experience, making the visitor feel at home in this new and fascinating place.

Mauro was great! He was very communicative and quick to respond to our inquiries. He was willing to work with us on the details of our experience - times, meeting place, etc. He was so patient with us during the whole tour, as we have a son with Cerebral Palsy who is not as quick to walk/move as others. Mauro answered many of our questions, and was always looking for animals to point out and interesting facts to tell us about the park. He is very knowledgeable about many of the plants and animals there. The one area that we felt was not as strong for him is the area of birds. Although we saw a sloth, a snake, an aguti, white-faced monkeys, a rainbow grasshopper, a golden-web spider, bats and crabs, we never did see any birds at all. Even though we could hear them and see a few flying around, Mauro didn't seem to have much knowledge of them nor was able to spot any for us. Overall, we very much enjoyed our time with Mauro, and he was extremely personable and gave us a great tour of the park.

This was an unforgettable tour. Mauro was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We learned about the cultural and natural history of the park. We learned about the wildlife and ecology. We *saw* a whole range of unbelievable wildlife, which we would have missed without Mauro’s expertise (e.g. sloths, snakes, frogs, birds, iguanas, monkeys). Note - some luck is involved in what you see, of course, but he will make the most of the timing you have. He also captured amazing, professional level photos for us on our smart phone. Don’t miss this tour with him!

Mauro was well spoken, passionate and welcoming. He spotted animals in Maniel Antonio National Park that we NEVER would have spotted ourselves. He told us all about them and had his scope pointed at them so that we could get up close. He even took photos through the scope with our phones so we could take the memories home with us. You MUST book this walk for your visit!

They was a very interesting experience. Mauro has a keen, almost superhuman, ability to spot the wildlife. Without him, we would have walked by and missed so much. He brings a telescope which he sets up and allows guests view and helps get great photos. He made special attention to provide us with recommendations, safety tips and directions when we parted ways. Thank you Mauro.
