What you'll do
This is a 100% local experience where you will be part of the ¨dominican move¨:
-First, we start at the meeting point that will be in a "colmado" at the Colonial Zone to meet each other and drink local beer. ¨Colmados¨ are the mix of a mini-market, bar, disco, game space, etc. In short, it's the perfect dominican meeting point and belongs to our popular culture.
-Second, we’ll be walking towards one of my favorite places to go out to dance caribbean music (merengue, salsa, son, etc). I love the vibe in this place because it’s a space where no matter if you’re Dominican or not, no matter if you can dance or not and no matter the age… we’re united by the contagious music and dance that brings us together.
-Third, after so much dancing you end up hungry. So as a good Dominican after so much party, we ended the night eating dominican street food.
*Optional: Depending on the mood we follow the night in another bar to continue dancing.
Other things to note
Wear comfortable clothes
Bring some money and a copy paper of your ID or passport, just in case.

My name is Andreina Sánchez and I'm a proudly dominican. Travel is one of my big passions until now I've traveled to 26 countries. When I travel the best way to know deeply a country is socializing and sharing with local people to learn and respect their culture. I love travel abroad, but I love more to visit each little tiny place of my own country because one cannot love or defend what you don't know.
