My name is Ivica, and I'm a journalist, blogger and licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Split, Croatia, where I still live. It's been years since I worked as a guide in regions of Split and Šibenik, i.e. entire central Dalmatia. However, way before I started working as a guide I studied and explored the past and present of Dalmatia. My decades-long journalism career was of big help in this field. As a guide, I'm an expert in architectural and historical heritage, and as a journalist, I'm familiar with all social segments, from ordinary people's daily life to politics, as well as with all changes this area went through in its history. Split, Trogir and Šibenik are excellent examples of such processes, which is a crucial reason for my interest in them.
