We will cruise through the canals of Xochimilco all while (safely) enjoying authentic Mexican food, drinks and music!

The meeting point is Embarcadero Cuemanco.
*Tip: Try a Michelada (beer, lime and spices). The ideal way to start the day!

Once aboard our colorful trajinera, each guest/group will receive their own “Trajinera kit” to safely enjoy the canals of Xochimilco and festivities:
- We’ll tell you about the history of the site and take in the natural beauty of the area.
- You’ll learn how to drink Mezcal and Tequila the Mexican way (actually appreciating it and with delicious chasers).
- Hungry? Don't worry, a traditional homemade Mexican dish and salsa (special family recipe) will be served along with a variety of snacks.
- Mariachis & traditional Mexican music groups will join us for part of the journey where you'll be able to request songs and dance! (not included in price)
- We'll visit an Axolote sanctuary (an amphibian endemic to Xochimilco) and other special chinampas (man-made islands) along the way. ($1USD)
- There will be plenty of good Latin music and dancing, so be ready to enjoy a lively and fun atmosphere!

*We usually do this experience on weekends, but weekdays can also be arranged. Send us a message.
Bathrooms along the way are rustic and cost 5 pesos each time.

Mau is into sustainability and nature; he chose this particular route because of its beautiful natural surroundings, wildlife and vivid colors. Within minutes of departure, Oscar made everyone feel like one big family. He provided history on Xochimilco, and after that it was party time. He was inclusive and encouraged everyone to enjoy themselves at their own pace.

Ana is an amazing host! She was thoughtful and made the experience special! Definitely worth booking this experience over doing xochimilco on your own.

Fantastic experience. Our host Oscar was a delight- he was great at breaking the ice with a bunch of strangers and made us feel right at home on our lil boat. We all had a blast- thank you!

Our host was Oscar - he did an incredible job of breaking the ice and getting the group to have some fun. It’s definitely a booze cruise but they pepper im anecdotes and local history. The canals were also more beautiful than I imagined.

We had the best time with Ana. She made the whole experience a party and brought everyone together. I highly recommend this tour as a great introduction to CDMX! Not only was the tour fun but Ana shared information about the history of Xochilmilco, had a banging playlist, and gave great local mezcal and tequila recommendations!

We had a blast doing the boat tour with Arturo. We enjoyed the explanations around the region and the mezcal/tequila tasting. Our group was really fun and came from all over. Highly recommend this experience!
