We will cruise through the canals of Xochimilco all while enjoying authentic Mexican food, drinks and music!

The meeting point is Embarcadero Cuemanco.
*Tip: Try a Michelada (beer, lime and spices). The ideal way to start the day!

Once aboard our colorful trajinera we’ll head off into the canals of Xochimilco where the festivities begin:
- We’ll tell you about the history of the site and take in the natural beauty of the area.
- You’ll learn how to drink Mezcal and Tequila the Mexican way (actually appreciating it and with delicious chasers).
- Hungry? Don't worry, a traditional homemade Mexican dish and salsa (special family recipe) will be served along with a variety of snacks.
- Dessert? You will help us make a traditional cocktail to enjoy after the tasty lunch.
- Mariachis & traditional Mexican music groups will join us for part of the journey where you'll be able to request songs and dance! (not included in price)
- We'll visit an Axolote sanctuary (an amphibian endemic to Xochimilco) and other special chinampas (man-made islands) along the way. ($1USD)
- There will be plenty of good Latin music and dancing, so be ready to enjoy a lively and fun atmosphere!

*We usually do this experience on Saturdays & Sundays, but weekdays can also be arranged. Send us a message :

Where you'll be

Xochimilco, declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, means "flower field" and refers to the many flowers and other crops that have been grown here on chinampas (small artificial islands) since the pre-Hispanic period.
Discover its colors, sounds and natural beauty as you float along the canals lined with gardens and curtains of trees on brightly decorated trajineras (traditional boat).
Take this magnificent tour as you enjoy local delicacies!

This was an amazing and FUN experience that can not be created on your own. We had fun with our fellow guests who were perfect strangers yet we all laughed and connected well. The background was amazing and we enjoyed every minute.

This is an excellent experience. A taste of the real Mexico and so close to the city. Isa and Mau are great hosts and literally everything is organized for you. So easy, fun and definitely great value. Great food, drinks, location and music. Highly recommended! Also super easy to get an Uber to and from the location if you are in the city.

A once in a lifetime experience with a fantastic crew. I’ve just recently come back from visiting Xochimilco on this tour and honestly I don’t have enough nice things to say about the experience. The whole day from start to finish was highly professional, engaging and entertaining. Isa and Mau took fantastic care of us and I honestly felt like we are friends by the end of the day. I couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience and while I say it’s a once in a lifetime experience I will definitely be back! Thank you Isa, Mau and Crew for everything! X
