What you'll do

Our experience is an educational tour to share the culture of mezcal and all the tradition that surrounds it. We will meet in the center of Oaxaca City to visit the community of Matatlan (Considered "The world capital of mezcal") and the magical town of Mitla.
We will visit an artisanal mezcal factory to observe and know the whole process of elaboration, step by step.
We will also share with you the different types of agave that exist, how they reproduce and the care they need. We will talk about the different categories and classes of mezcal.
You can try a wide variety of different mezcal and learn to taste them. (The tasting is unlimited).
Then we will move to our majestic agave field with thousands of plants, where you can tour and admire this beautiful place; And of course take amazing pictures! We will do a couple of activities to show all the time and work behind this spirit drink.
Finally, we will visit an authentic traditional Oaxacan restaurant, where you can enjoy a special dish with typical food of the region. There we will make a final tasting to share all the secrets of the liquid culture of Mexico.
In the end, we will return to the city to return to the same meeting point.

My name is Ricardo, originally from the magical town of Mitla! I am an agave producer and founder of the artisan mezcal brand "Inquebrantable". Lover of mezcal and all the culture and tradition that surrounds it. From the birth and planting of the agave, to the jima and preparation of our spiritual drink. For several years I have worked in the culture of mezcal, surrounded by agaves and touring different production factories, always looking for the best flavors, to now share with you one of the best mezcal tastings in Oaxaca, as well as a unique tour between agave fields.

Amazing experience. Ricardo truly loves this amazing drink, area and process. The vehicle was comfy and air conditioned. The ride takes about an hour To and from. The Mezcal? Amazing! The tour? Even better. So hands on and into areas not seen by other tours. Learning, experiencing, tasting and beyond. Far exceeded my expectations! So much history in this drink and Ricardo is one of the best maestros to tell the story. One final word - Passion!
