What you'll do

We will meet at the beach of El Pajar (Arguinerguin) where after some theoretical explanations of the technique of sea kayaking rowing, we will go on to practice. We will go in double seat sea kayaks and paddle along the coast enjoying the adventure that takes us passing through rocks, seeing crabs, seagulls and shearwaters. We will arrive at the Military Beach where we will make a short stop to visit the remains of an archaeological site. We will take advantage of the moment to give a short talk about the canarian culture and its aboriginal ways of life. We will continue paddling until we reach the beach of Montaña Arena, where we will have time to rest, bathe, eat the picnic, play beach tennis or frisbee or even feed the lizards of the area. Around 12:30 we will start with the return to El Pajar beach and with a bit of luck, we will be able to see turtles on our way.

Hello! My name is Victor and I was always a crazy mountain goat. During my university years, I realized that what really motivated me was to be in nature, to practice adventure sports and to show the best places in Gran Canaria. That's why 10 years ago I created Mojo Picón Aventura with the aim of being able to make known through adventure sports, the most spectacular corners of the island. So if you want to know them from the hand of a local guide, experienced and loving my land and what I do best, do not hesitate to try this experience. I will be waiting for you!!

I was so glad when this ended. The route is bland and boring, the beaches we stopped at were boring and the lunch was awful. You start off in an industrial estate with nowhere to get changed or anything to really make where you’re going. You then spend two hours rowing alongside the coast, with some nice views of caves and the motorway. Let me just be clear, TWO HOURS OF ROWING. We were a group of young gym-going lads and we were knackered. At the first stop you get to climb over a fence to see some protected ruins. Not exactly official. You can then row for another hour to a poo-brown beach filled with random tents so enjoy your lunch. Lunch for me was a banana, two cookies and a handful of nuts. That’s literally all that is on offer, after two hours of hard cardio. After psyching ourselves up, we were eventually able to attempt the hour long row home. For £50, this is a right joke. The route needs to be more interesting, the steps needs to be less arduous and the lunch needs some serious work.

A great and fun trip with our guide Angel. Our guide had a lot of interesting stories and knowledge of the canary islands. Bonuspoints for picking up garbage on the beach while we had a break.

A great experience, great for kids and adults. Our guide was particularly friendly and great with the teenagers, showing them how to feed lizards. He also recommended a great seafood place, by where we launched, which was local and amazing!!
