What you'll do
We'll explore the ingredients and flavors of Portuguese cuisine, sampling dishes at some of my favorite local spots. We'll taste different foods, including salted pastries, cheese, premium olive oil, and bacalhau (salted cod). We'll also sip Portuguese wine, beer and ginjinha, a sour cherry liqueur. We'll visit charming neighborhood spots that aren't well-known by outsiders. I'll share information and tell stories about what makes Portugal's culinary culture so special. Besides eating and drinking we will effortlessly experience the unique and beautiful elements that make Lisbon such a lovely city to explore.
