What you'll do

Before taking a conventional city tour in Lima, the first thing you should know is its millenary past. In this tour, we will visit one of the most important administrative and ceremonial centers of prehispanic Lima, located in Miraflores. Here we'll observe Llamas and Alpacas, two of the four Peruvian camelids used by our ancestors, we will also see "cuyes", known worldwide as guinea pigs. Then we will visit the most important museum in Peru, which houses an impressive collection of objects in gold, silver, ceramics and pre-Columbian textiles. You will know the importance of human sacrifice for the cultures of ancient Peru, its worldview and religion, its customs, its art, the impressive accounting system that was used during the time of the Incas. You will learn to make a Quipu! And you will discover the mythical god AI APAEC!
