I have been a city-licensed bike tour guide here in Savannah, GA for the last 10 years. An avid history buff and naturalist, I got my love for local history, natural history, architecture, and foodways having lived in the Low Country region of the Deep South for most of my life. This is where we live an laid-back lifestyle and a bike ride through town is the best way to experience it all!

Where you'll be

We will explore the famed landmarks, but also the quieter, off-the-beaten-path hidden streets, architectural gems, and local hang-outs. Since we can cover so much of the city on bikes, you will get a lay of the land not possible on walking or carriage tours. Also, since we minimize our carbon footprint, we can get up-close-and-personal not possible on motorized tours. From the riverfront to Forsyth Park, we'll see a dozen or more squares!

This bike tour was awesome! I would highly, highly recommend the experience for anyone visiting Savannah. The tour was a perfect way to see the city and learn about the incredible history. The guide, Dee, was kind, knowledgeable, and a great story teller. The ride was never strenuous, very casual, and great for all levels of athleticism. Thanks, Dee!

We enjoyed the nice bikes, and the great conversation/information/and tips on Savannah architecture/history/food and folklore. Dee was super accommodating and we could tell that he enjoyed sharing his love of Savannah with us. Highly recommend! And because of his recommendation we went to the cool neighborhood of Starland and tried the ‘life changing tacos’ at Bull Street Taco! Delicious!

What a lovely little place! It’s smaller than it looks in the pictures but it was perfect for the two of us for two nights. It’s just outside of the Historical District and offers a lot of charm. Less than 10 minutes to the famous River Street and just 25 to Tybee Island. Joyce was easy to communicate with and made it very easy to find her tucked away place. Would highly recommend!
