It was a perfect Autumn morning for our hike with Karen and David. They responded promptly through the app when we needed directions and we found them parked and ready when we arrived.
The trail was scruffy after the recent rain but their conversation made the going easier and their three poodles kept us entertained during the trek to the top.
The AllTrails app rates the Mount Misery trail moderate, noting the challenges are steep sections and slippery spots after the rain. With the aid of a walking stick, which Karen helpfully foraged for us, we were rewarded with a beautiful view at the top.
