What you'll do
Discover and experience what traces the National Socialists left in Munich on a walking tour to the most important Nazi sites. Understand when and why Adolf Hitler came to Munich, where he lived, how the NSDAP started, the most important Nazi buildings, the so-called Hitler Putsch and what resistance there was against the Nazi regime in Munich.
The main local stations are:
- Hitler Putsch (Odeonsplatz)
- Opposition to National Socialism (Hofgarten)
- "German Art" and "Degenerate Art" (House of Art)
- Memory of the Victims (Victims' Square)
- Secret State Police (Bayerische Landesbank)
- The supporters of the Nazi regime (Karolinenplatz)
- The Nazi Party Center (Königsplatz and Briennerstraße)
- The party headquarters / "Brown House" (Königsplatz)
- The Führerbau with the office of Adolf Hitler (Arcisstraße)
- The NSDAP administration (Katharina-von-Bora-Straße)
- NS Documentation Center (Max-Mannheimer-Platz) - only outside
On this tour I use detailed images so that you can better understand what it was like back then.
Please note that I am not leading a radical right or Nazi.
Other things to note
The discovery takes about 2 hours and is on foot, so please bring good shoes. The price refers to a group of max. 10 people.

"Experience Munich" is my topic. I will guide you through my city and bring the history of Munich back to life with exciting stories, lots of background information and a reference to current events. Of course, you will also hear some years on my tours, but the focus is on having fun with Munich's contemporary history and stories that are easy to remember. Experience instead of just being there.
Since 2006 I have been doing city tours in Munich, I am a trained city guide and offer tours on foot, by bus and by Segway.
