What you'll do

Day 1
This first morning we are up at the earliest to depart at 6:30 AM to beat the sunrise and depending on where the group wants to go, the sky is the limit. I know hundreds of places around the Southwest both on and off the beaten path.

We can go to petroglyph sites, photography sites (only known by me) and places where old ghost town ruins are still standing. We spend this first day venturing in the outback of Southern Utah in country known as the Escalante Desert. We go down dirt roads clear out into the sticks on our way to Nevada. We take the slow and detailed route and stop in several places to take photos while I tell stories and do interpretation in between.

I like to get to know every group and what their interests are and I tailor my interpretation and stories to what people like. Every group is different but you should know this is this is a photographic adventure geared towards taking better photos and I love to teach photography and showing you how to use your camera better. You are also traveling with a seasoned UFO researcher who has a lot of knowledge and experience with the phenomenon. We spend our first night at the Haunted Overland Hotel in Pioche, Nevada.
Other things to note
This tour is best suited for a pro photographer or a seasoned traveler. We also like to teach and help our guests take better pictures. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Everyone is welcome!

Day 2
On the second day, we arrange to meet up around 6:30-7:30 AM depending on what the group wants to do. We go to breakfast at the local cafe in Pioche after a good night's rest and spend sometime photographing the historic mining town before departing and heading to some localities like Caliente, Nevada and Cathedral Gorge State Park. We will also be visiting an old ghost town and cemetery that dates back to the 19th century. Everywhere we visit is perfect photoshooting opportunities.

We will be making several stops along the way at points of interest depending on group interests. Towards afternoon we wind up on 45 mile stretch of Extraterrestrial Highway and head out to Dreamland. We will either visit the main entrance to Area 51 or head out and do some evening photography.

It's during the afternoon when we are close to America's most secretive base that we will visit a little known ghost town that is about 15 miles off on the beaten path. We will take our time out there to digest the views. Later in the evening we check into the Little A'Le'Inn where we will spend the second night of our trip; this is where we relax and photograph amazing light before dark during golden hour.
Other things to note
This is not a scripted tour; every tour is different because every group I mingle with is different. We are all crossing paths here for a reason and my experiences are shared through stories.

Day 3
The third day of the excursion leaves us some time to relax and recoup and perhaps even meet Pat, Owner of the Little A'Le'Inn who has a few stories of her own. This is where the Guests and Nate determine what they would like to do on the third day of the adventure.

We will probably visit a second undisclosed entrance to Area 51 and take some photos there and meet up with some "Camo Guys" or do we call them "Mystery Men" in unmarked white trucks with tinted windows. We may head back to Groom Lake Road and pass by Steve Medlin's ranch and photograph some very photographic Joshua Tree Forests. These desert valleys are some of the most photogenic places in Nate's top five most Favorited places to visit in the American Southwest.

On our way back home to conclude the adventure we can brush up on and cover whatever the guests would like to revisit. This is a day to allow a compromise where we maximize the most intriguing points or the trip or revisit. There is no set time when activities conclude for the day. It depends on what everybody wants to do based on consensus. We will plan to return back to La Quinta Inn & Suites sometime in the late afternoon between 5:30-8:30 PM.

I'm the founder of Utah's ONLY UFO Fest that happens in Cedar City, Utah every summer, and is growing steadily every year. I've been a pro photographer for over 18 years and did private commercialized National Parks tours around the Grand Circle of the Southwest for over 12 years. I also conducted interpretive wilderness tours in and outside the Grand Canyon. I've been on the UFO Road most my life but the journey became more important with my first major sighting in December of 2013 on Nevada's Extraterrestrial Highway. Ever since then, much more has occurred in my life surrounding the topic.
