I opened our small sewing shop in 2012 after years of working as a textile Artist. Studying Fashion, Art and Embroidery at college, gave me a good base to grow my skills in Patchwork, Embroidery, Dressmaking, soft furnishing and upholstery amongst other things. I teach groups of children and adults every week in our tiny rural community snuggled in the heart of real Ireland.
Where you'll be
Our little shop is in real farming country, Situated on a traditional Irish village street. In the small village of Cappamore
My daughter in-law and I had had little sewing experience and Rebecca made it so easy for us. We left with beautiful baby blankets the no one in our family believed we made!! They are truly beautiful. Rebecca fixed a delicious lunch for us. We felt very special! Wonderful experience all around! We highly recommend this!

Things to know
Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.
Up to 4 guests ages 12 and up can attend.
The small size of groups (2 - 3) means that I can really focus on teaching you the basics and we REALLY will get a baby quilt finished in a day - there may be some work for you to complete at home.
What to bring
A basic sewing kit of scissors, pins, thread etc would be useful -you can even bring your own sewing machine if you would like. We do have all these things for absolute novices though!
