Our Tolantongo tour with Manuel was absolutely amazing! Everything went smoothly and exactly as scheduled, and I really appreciated the small group - it felt comfortable and private throughout the trip. Tolantongo itself was breathtaking and especially the caves were an unforgettable experience. Both breakfast and lunch were delicious, and we had such a fun time dining at local restaurants. Manuel made sure we felt comfortable and cared for the entire day. I’m so grateful for his hospitality. Highly recommend this tour!

Long drive and a very early morning but very much worth it! Recommend buying a waterproof phone case and reef shoes beforehand if possible otherwise you will have people trying to sell them to you all day. Pack a bag with snacks. Every single toilet didnt have toilet paper so my advice is to bring tissues. The day is very long but you can nap during the drive. The hot springs are incredible and you don’t want to miss this.

Overall the tour was very good. A few things to note, the ride was extremely uncomfortable as you ride 5 people in a 4door sedan. If you’re lucky to get the front seat maybe your experience will be different, but if have 3 people crammed in the back seat for 7-8h total, it’s tough. Though the group size says 12, it’s actually split 4 people in three different cars. So if you are tall, have neck or back problems, beware. Our guide Manuel was amazing, he was very professional, knowledgeable, great driver and just a nice person. The caves were closed, so one of the attractions that we wanted to see wasn’t opened. If you care about all three components of the tour, I would message ahead of time to inquire. Food was great, and very tasty. Communication was good, we were given a list of items to bring ahead of time, very quick and prompt responses.
