What you'll do
#1 Airbnb Food Experience in Singapore with 100+ five star reviews! In this trail, we will discover the diversity of food of the main ethnic groups in Singapore. And while any foodie tour can take you on a hawker trail, we’ll let you in on the secrets behind the best stalls. The group size is intentionally kept intimate (no more than 6) as our food stops are small businesses specially handpicked to reflect artisanal techniques - not the ones typically visited by commercial tours. I don't do this everyday as well as I respect the market and do not want to turn it into a tourist trap. More than tasting, you will also get a full palate education on the herbs & spices that are used in the traditional culinary kitchens of this region. In between eating stops, we take a breath to explore some terrific street art and walk through atmospheric alleys. This is the ultimate feast for the stomach and eyes! Notes : - Vegetarian-friendly.Just let me know in advance! - Fully customised (eg. gluten free, vegan) private tours. Just ask!
I'm a chef by training (At-Sunrice Culinary Academy, Le Cordon Bleu) + foodie and licensed local guide. I have hosted supper clubs and worked with Singapore based and foreign Michelin starred chefs. My interest and area of specialty is in incorporating Asian flavors with European culinary techniques. I'm fascinated with how the history and cuisine of Singapore is tied closely with herbs and spices of the region and want to share this with you. Looking for more food or don't see a date listed?
