What you'll do

Go on a dog sledding journey through the mountains and forests of Norway.

We'll meet at the host's house in the small village of Tylldalen. Then we'll say hello to the 40 sled dogs, learn how to harness them, and start sledding towards the old village of Hokstadt. Over the next two days we'll sled past beautiful old houses, stop to eat a traditional Norwegian meal cooked over a campfire, relax in an outdoor sauna, and discover the beauty of frozen mountain lakes.

If we're lucky, we may even see the Northern lights.

Hi, my name is Olivia, since I was born in Switzerland, in the 1980's. I have been surrounded by dogs and cats. In dog sledding I found a way to combine my passion for animals, sports and the mountain.

In 2008 I started offering dog sledding tours, in the biggest ski area in Switzerland. In 2013 I obtained my diploma as a Dog Training Instructor. Since 2014 I am also a certified mountain leader. I moved to Norway in 2017 with all the doggies to get more space, more snow, more time with the dogs. I am looking forward to share my passion with you.

My partner and I had quite possibly the most exciting, magical three days of our lives! From the moment we met Olivia and her assistant Lucie, they were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. Spending time with the dogs was an incredible experience - they are so lively yet gentle, and we spent about an hour each day playing with them. Olivia and Lucie took us sledding for several hours each day across the beautiful snowy mountains, which was so beautiful and exhilarating! They also prepared delicious packed lunches for us, made amazing meals in the evening, and took such great care of us. We were heartbroken to leave, but Olivia has continued to keep us updated with footage of their continued adventures. We can't wait to return!

We had an unbelievable time with Olivia, Lucy and the dogs. As many have said, the only bad thing about this experience was having to say goodbye! Beautiful mountain views, fresh air, nice meals and great company 😊

Absolutely incredible. Best experience I’ve had, possibly ever. Olivia and Lucy were so accommodating, kind, and funny! They made us feel comfortable on the sleds and in their home. They also allowed us to challenge ourselves on the sleds which made it feel like much more than a typical guided tour. The dogs are lovely!! Fell In love and it was really hard to leave. You definitely have to love dogs, or feel comfortable around them because they can be loud. But they all love cuddles and people!! Wouldn’t change a thing about the trip.

Wonderful experience with wonderful, friendly, caring, very humble host, Olivia. Olivia is very professional and passionate at her job. She knows what she is doing and she was very kind and caring to the guest. She did her best to make the atmosphere friendly and easy to the guest. Lucie was also a great help. Both were wonderfully warmhearted women with professional knowledge and experience. They both constantly checked if I was safe, doing alright while sledding the dogs. I felt well cared and protected! Haha. It was a lovely three day experience. Highly recommended if you love being with dogs and beautiful, breath-taking nature views, and good people. I myself is a huge lover for dog and nature so it was already a heaven for me but the hospitality of Olivia and Lucie made the experience even better.
