About your host, Jordan
I've rowed across the Atlantic Ocean twice. Once I got Guinness World Record. Once I capsized in the Bermuda Triangle. Twice I rowed this very boat down the Mississippi River. I’m a published author, run a non-profit, and can blow the conch for mermaids.
What we’ll do
Embark from North Lake Union on a journey in a rowboat crafted perfectly for two guests. Relax while I row you on a voyage through a city best seen from the water. Discover the colorful history of the unique geography that shaped the people who call this home and how they in turn reshaped the land. Travel past adorable houseboats and under spectacular drawbridges to wetlands teaming with life a…

Notes
All ages. All skill levels. Dress for the weather & bring 1 more layer than you think you will need. Please provide own transport to boat ramp. I reserve right to cancel for unsafe conditions.
Where we’ll be
Departing North Lake Union we travel to the shores of Gas Works Park to get a lay of the city. Heading north then east we pass under drawbridges and past house boats through Portage Bay and then jolly looking Montlake Bridge. Arriving in Union Bay we will travel through wetlands nestled between the University and Lake Washington and accessible only to rowboats, canoes, and kayaks. On a clear day Mount Rainier peers over the water at us.

Guest requirements
Bringing guests under 18
If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate.
From the host
Guests must be comfortable in small boats, around water, physically able to get in and out of the boat under their own power. You don't need to know how to swim to have a wonderful time rowing. Unlike a kayak you will stay quite dry unless its raining. However, I would like to to know your comfort level with water as this will help me help you have a better experience. If you don't know be willing to wear a life vest and sign a waiver. Keep in mind that if you row two or twenty thousands strokes with me that is entirely up to you. I love to row with people and I love to row people around.
Who can come
Guests of all ages can attend.
