What you'll do

We'll meet in the heart of Greektown before embarking on an epic 4-stop pastry crawl. All bakeries are decades-old and family-run, which perfectly reflects the traditions and flavors of Greektown itself.

With up to 8 guests, we'll take a walk along Danforth Avenue - Greektown's main drag - before stopping to enjoy a piece of Galaktoboureko. I'll reveal some neighborhood secrets + personal stories before going off-the-beaten-path and sampling Trigona, Amygdalota and of course, Baklava.

Please note - unfortunately, we cannot accommodate vegans and guests who have aversions to gluten, eggs, nuts, and dairy.

Face-masks MUST be worn upon entering ANY/EVERY business establishment.

Jim is a great host my daughter and I joined his tour for two times. He is very friendly. This time we went to four different bakery and try many kinds of different Greek desserts. We really like it. Thanks Jim let us know more about Toronto Greek cultures.

I bought this as a gift for my sister and communication with Jim was excellent in arranging this. Here is what my sister had to say: My boyfriend (Jamie) and I (Claire) were bought tickets to go on Jim's 'Greek pastry crawl' for Xmas this year by my sister Becky, and we were salivating as soon as we read what we were in for! We met Jim on the Danforth and had an absolutely brilliant time chatting and wandering off the beaten track, trying authentic Greek pastries and meeting the local café and shop owners, who clearly know Jim well. It was a real treat to be welcomed to into each place as if the owners knew us really well, too. The pastries were delicious and we even got an extra couple of treats along the way - I'm glad we ate breakfast very early that day and left room to be hungry! We loved meeting Jim, he's incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and super friendly, it was great to have him as our guide for the afternoon. We will be visiting the Danforth more often and hope to keep in touch with Jim in the future.
