Come along to learn deeply about Japanese sake with a professional sake sommelier!
Four types of appetizer and dessert will be served along with sake. Please feel free to let us know by email, if you have any food allergies or if there is anything you don’t eat.

This experience is accompanied by an interpreter, so anyone can apply with confidence.

I speak Japanese, but I can also speak a little English as I have recently been studying.
I will be using a portable translator (available in multiple languages) to support communication, which may cause a little delay. I will also hand out documents in English to help you learn about sake.
There may be a small language barrier between us, but I will do my best to keep you happy by making full use of my hospitality experiences for better understanding. I hope to see many of you at the session.

We had such a great time with Tsukasa. He was very patient with us as we don't speak much Japanese and answered all of our questions. He provided lots of information and taught us a lot about sake that we didn't know beforehand. The sake itself was delicious and very varied, it opened my eyes to a new world of sake. The food pairings were excellent too and the general vibe of the bar was really nice with a great view over the street outside. We loved our time with Tsukasa and would recommend the experience wholeheartedly! Having the interpreter would have helped us occasionally for the more complicated questions we had, but our booking was very last minute and I still learned lots and Tsukasa's English was very good anyway! With the translator device he had we managed fine. Thank you so much Tsukasa for a wonderful evening! We really enjoyed the experience!

This is a great experience, whether you are a beginner to the world of sake or not. Tsukasa is an excellent host and has a huge wealth of knowledge around this subject and will tailor the experience to exactly what you require. The sake we tasted was delicious, there was a wide variety, and it was especially delicious to have it with the food pairings (both sweet and savoury). Highly recommend this experience! We loved it so much we stayed and had more sake and dinner afterwards.

I loved this experience. Tsukasa was very patient with his explanation and seemed happy to answer all of my questions. I was able to try a variety of Japanese rice wine, learn about how they are made, and Tsukasa gave me tips for recognizing different types of alcohol when I order in the future. I also got to try the wine he makes that is special to his bar (and the couple bars owned by a friend), which might have been my favourite for the night. The bar itself has a very comfortable feeling, is artfully decorated, and the staff are very kind.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed every second with Tsukasa-san. We learned a lot about the production of sake and we could ask a lot of questions. They'd been answered nicely. ;-) We got a bunch of helpful tips and enjoyed different sake tastes. Wishing you a flourishing business!
