What you'll do

I really hope to receive lot a wine lovers which want to have an unique wine and olive oil experience. Welcome drink at the arrival, guided visit of the middle age cellar, in the garden followed by a walk in the vineyards and in the olive groves and finally rich wine tasting and nice home made food served in a charming place that you will love it. According with the season you can be part of the works in the vineyards or in in the cellar. The time we suggest are; all the month of may, when there are the small clusters, September during the grape harvest, March, when we prune the vines and we press the dried grapes for the dessert wine Vin Santo, November when we pick the olives and we crush them. On summer you can do wonderful hike in the vineyards and maybe you can help to bottle the wine. Few days of the year it could be possible to do also a wine tasting from the barrels with our master of wine who will explain the secrets of the winemaking, ask in advance for it. If you love balsamic vinegar, we will introduce in its history and you will try vinegar with different ageing. You will also discover the incredible flavours of the white truffle infused in our extra virgin. If you want to have a bottle with your personalized label, let me know 12 hours in advance your name and surname and I will prepare the private label; you will choose the wine here. Me and my family wait you !

Where you'll be

You will visit the hystorical cellar of the middle age, where we keep our more prestigious wines. In september and october you can be part of the grape harvest and you can see the pressing of the grapes. In november you could enter in the olive mills to see how is produced the extra virgin of high quality. At the end of winter you could be present at the crushing of the raisins that we use for the production of our amazing dessert wine.

Simone’s vineyard is both gorgeous and extremely historical. There is a castle on the property which has a fantastic story to go along with it! The wine is of course fantastic. Don’t forget about the olive oil and fantastic jams - also delicious!

This was such a special and unique experience as a first time visitor to Florence. Simone and everyone else we came across was welcoming and personable. We learned so much about wine, olive oil, and the vineyard's history. The real star of the tour was the wine and food selection. We had a generous sampling of all the wines they have along with more than enough helpings of different cheeses, meats, breads, and more. The added lunch was 100% worth it, too! The ravioli was so delicious. This was easily the best wine tasting/tour I've ever had the pleasure to experience and can't recommend it enough.

This experience is a must, for those visited Tuscany! It was easy to get there by bus, and the hosts are super helpful in giving directions. The entire experience was beautiful! We walked around the winery, and saw where the wine was made and then enjoyed a delicious tasting and food! We tried at least 10 wines and tasted the different olive oils produced, cheeses, meats, and bruschetta. Simone made us feel personally welcomed, and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable! Great options for purchasing and shipping wine as well!! A highlight of my Florence trip!

What to bring

just a smile and....... Since in the summer there can also be a temperature change of 30 ° C - 50 ° F, between the external temperature and the temperature of the underground cellar, I recommend taking some clothes to cover your shoulders.

IMPORTANT: I would like to remind you that this EXP is not a professional wine class with a sommelier presence. I repeat this because sometimes a guest expects this. For a service of this kind, many more hours are needed ...
