James Top is a real grafitti Legend in New York. He is a very nice and lovefull person. He knows everything about grafitti and the hip hop culture. He has many interessting stories to tell you, and he knows all the good grafitti spots and walls from Harlem. After he show you, how to create art, and you will make your own art. He will tag your art, so you got a special thing do bring back to your home. I will always remember the day with James Top, i had a great time. Thank you James 🙂❤️

My husband and I had a fantastic time with James! He is amazingly knowledgeable and so personable. We immediately felt like he was an old friend. He introduced us to a world we'd never understood or appreciated before. We loved visiting Spanish Harlem and learning about the politics and the history behind so much of the street art. He is truly renowned in the graffiti world, having been a part of the movement since it began in New York over 40 years ago. He has traveled to a number of other countries to give talks and seminars. We were amazed that as we were walking down the street with him, he was stopped by a graffiti writer from London who requested a picture of him. Thank you, James, for an incredible day! Thank you for opening our eyes to the beauty and intricacy of graffiti!

James is very knowledgeable about the area and culture. It was awesome getting an insider’s look at Harlem and El Barrio. As a child, I never thought I’d see the original 106th and Park. This tour is a must if you want to navigate the area in a short amount of time. With this tour, you end at a community center for graffiti/street art. With this, you are supporting independent artists in the place they operate. At the time, there was a show of all female artists which was awesome to see. Women do not get represented as much in the hip hop/street culture. I know from being a woman in that. The experience brought a greater sense of the community & as a visiting artist it was great forming a bridge. That was more important to me personally.
