What you'll do

The adventure begins by cycling along the Costa Canaria promenade that offers the most spectacular observation points of the Maspalomas dunes.
We will continue the tour visiting the Botanical Garden of Maspalomas: here a local garden worker I know well will take a short private walking tour and will teach us many therapeutic and curative properties of some endemic trees and flowers and cacti.
The tour continues until you reach the small lagoon "Charca" where more than 40 species of different birds live and we will experience the amazing birdwatching experience.
Halfway through the tour we will visit the famous dunes of Maspalomas aboard a Camel about 40 minutes: here, I know the owners that only for Airbnb guests will offer a private tour of the whole structure and will give us a series of interesting information on life of this curious animal and the different uses they have had in the history of the Canaries.
Afterwards we continue to mount our bikes to go to visit Punta della Mujers, an ancient archaeological site made of circular houses made of large stones, home of the Guanches, an ancient indigenous population.

We are Eleonora and Lorenzo,
we have 10 years experience in the tourist reception sector and several important jobs in hotels and tour operators, such as Alpitour.
Strengthened by these skills in 2014, we decided to start our own business and found our Eco Bike Touring company in Maspalomas that allowed guests to experience non-conventional experiences in contact with a local guide.
Now we are professionals specialized in the sector and we are driving hundreds of guests from all over Europe to explore Gran Canaria with us, on two wheels and only with eco-sustainable vehicles.

Where you'll be

With the help of a local gardener we will know closely the most characteristic plants of the Canaries in the Botanical Garden.
We will visit a lagoon "la charca", a natural oasis where more than 40 species of birds live.
Riding a camel we explore the protected natural area of Maspalomas impossible to visit on foot.
The owners of the camel breeding only for Airbnb guests will offer a brief briefing and a tour of the structure.

It was an amazing experience with Lorenzo and Eleonora. Lorenzo was a super nice guide and he showed us all the cool places in Maspalomas. “The best ice cream in the south “ from Lorenzo is definitely worth trying. Really could not recommend this tour any more!

We had a wonderful experience with Lorenzo! I would advise everyone to take this private bike tour first, before trying out everything for yourself, as he told us a lot about which are the best venues and restaurants to attend. Lorenzo told us about the history of the island and brought us to really lovely places, as well as organizing the tickets for the camel rides. Before turning back, we had a nice refreshment at the local restaurant, just near the Meloneras broadwalk. The guys are really friendly and polite and I would definitely recommend this and other tours they are offering through their company.

Exploring Maspalomas is best done by bike as you can take in the views and enjoy the ride. We enjoyed the view over the dunes, the botanical garden, the parks and the sea. It was a good opportunity to meet the dromedary and have the experience of a “desert” caravan. This is a great tour if you want to move and explore at the same time!

Bonita experiencia. El tour esta muy bien organizado de manera que podamos ver lo esencial de Maspalomas, lo que es mas activo con la bici. El paseo en camello, estuvo muy tranquilo y agradable.
